Video Clips

I didn't manage to get to the camera as quickly as I would have liked on this photo. After I took this video clip, the camera cord was looped around the handlebar for quicker access.

Approaching Brush Tunnel on the Great Allegheny Passage Trail

On the left side of the trail are the canal remnants (covered with duckweed), and on the right side is the Potomac.

This is my favorite clip. Michelle had noticed the owl in a tree next to the trail and had stopped(otherwise I'm sure I would have ridden right by)

This clip is at the Pennyfield lock. The dilapidated house shown at the beginning was built for the lock keeper (evidently they wanted something larger than the normal lock house) and was used by President Grover Cleveland as a fishing retreat. It is in terrible shape and will be torn down. There is an overflow channel at each lock, and the view pans around to the lock house and then pans back to the trail, where Michelle and Debbie are approaching.

It's difficult to tell in this video, but there were tubers on the Potomac as we neared Harpers Ferry.

A kayaker at Great Falls. About 30 seconds later this guy went over a boulder (apparently intentionally) and had a 10-15 foot freefall.
